All of Aldi’s Wild Irish Hake - all year round - is sourced from Irish fishermen who fish in Irish waters. The fisheries which they source from all form part of a Fishery Improvement Project (FIP). The aim of a FIP is to improve sustainability within a fishery. Aldi’s wild Irish Hake is sourced from FIP-registered Irish vessels, and the processors are also be registered under the programme.
